Support Athletics

The Fairmont State Department of Athletics features 17 sports and nearly 300 student-athletes. Fairmont State University is committed to providing a first-class experience for the student-athletes when it comes to earning a degree and being active in the field of competition. With state funds continuing to be limited, private funding for athletics has never been more important than it is today.

Make a Gift

Private funding helps provide:
  • Scholarship support
  • Program Support (Specific to each sports)
  • Facility Upgrades and enhancements.

This type of support allows Fairmont State coaches and staff to ensure and promote the first-class experience that all student-athletes aspire and to which Fairmont State is committed. Private support is crucial in order for Fairmont State to remain competitive on a conference, regional and national level.

Make an impact on Fairmont State athletics today by contacting the Athletic Director's office at (304) 333-3646.

Join the Fighting Falcons $1,000 Club

We are excited to share this special invitation for you to “join the team behind the teams!” The $1000 Club is comprised of a group of loyal Fairmont State alumni and friends who share a common desire to provide Fighting Falcon athletic teams with the extra resources necessary to successfully compete in Division II athletics.

As a member of the $1000 Club, you directly help our athletic teams establish themselves among the best in the Mountain East Conference. The $1000 Club was created to support two vital aspects – scholarships and necessary expenses, such as travel, post-game meals and equipment. You may choose to designate your money to help fund scholarships for student-athletes, or you may choose to designate your money to a specific athletic program of your choice.

Your support is the critical piece to providing the necessary tools for our student-athletes to succeed on and off the court or playing field. By joining the $1000 Club, you become an important member of an elite group of people committed to the success of Fairmont State University Athletics.
