Foundation Support  Resources
​The Fairmont State Foundation provides support to university employees for university-focused communications, solicitations, and events which are donor- and/or alumni-focused in support of Fairmont State University. If your department would like to use any of the following resources, please submit a project request form, linked below.
Communications
The Fairmont State Foundation can help you put together professional e-newsletters and e-blasts to send to your constituents. You provide the content, and we will customize a mobile-friendly template, generate a list of recipients, and send it out on your behalf.

Please send any media, including images via e-mail to [email protected]. Be sure to include  the project title used on your Project Request in your email. The only acceptable formats for media are the following: .jpg, .png, and.gif for images which cannot exceed 500x500; and links (e.g., YouTube) for videos.

Submit your Project Request Form a minimum of 10 business days before the desired deployment date. Submissions received less than 10 business days prior to the target release date may be delayed or rejected. Please remember our staff can deliver better quality and help you better communicate with your stakeholders with more lead time.
Solicitations
It is required that any university employee or student organization gain pre-approval from the Foundation for all solicitations being communicated to constituent groups outside of campus. Solicitation schedules must be coordinated so as not to overwhelm our constituents. In addition, the look and message presented must adhere to the branding set forth by the University and the Foundation.
Events
Fairmont State Foundation strives to provide alumni and donors with engagement opportunities on campus and recognizes the positive impact of such social interactions. If you are holding an engagement or fundraising event that will include alumni and/or donors to the University the Fairmont State Foundation may be able to assist with communications and registrations related to the event.  If the event has a fundraising component, it MUST be pre-approved by the Foundation using the Project Request form.  No monies from an event will be deposited at the Foundation without an approved Project Request form.
