2017 Senior Class Gift Campaign
The senior campaign launched in 2016 as a way for those graduating and leaving this area to make one final impression on campus. The class of 2016 successfully campaigned to provide a much-needed veteran’s memorial on campus.
FSU senior class officers have been at it again, assessing a need of the students and a way for the graduating class to give back to the university and its future students.
The Senior Class Gift for the Class of 2017 is the development of an unused, fenced in circle on the East side of the Falcon Center into an area for students to spend a few quiet moments away from a busy class schedule. The space will feature rammed-earth mounds on which to sit and relax, and a brick path traversing the circle.
This year's class officers have put together an opportunity that will allow students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the community to leave a more definitive mark on campus than ever before! The gift from the Class of 2017 will be the Falcon Commons, a seating area on the east side of the Falcon Center, featuring an engraved brick path. For the price of $20.17 all students will be able to have a personalized brick on the path to be laid! All others will be able to purchase personalized bricks for $50.00. In this way, everyone has the opportunity to leave their name or message on campus for years to come!
